Tumac(c3)(a1)cori National Historical Park

Tumac(c3)(a1)cori National Historical Park, located in the Santa Cruz River Valley in southern Arziona, is the site of one of the oldest Spanish missions in the Southwest. The 45-acre park consists of three distinct units: Tumac(c3)(a1)cori, Guevavi, and Calabazas. All visitor services and park operations are based out of the Tumac(c3)(a1)cori unit.

Getting There

By Plane
The closest airport is the Tucson International Airport, which is about 45 miles north of Tumac(c3)(a1)cori.

By Car
Take Interstate 19 south from Tucson 45 miles to exit 29 and follow the
signs. The park is 18 miles north of Nogales, AZ, which is on the Mexican border.

Getting Around
Allow one-to-two hours for plenty of time to tour both the grounds and
the museum. All areas are accessible by paved foot paths. There are no roads in the park.

Weather

Tumac(c3)(a1)cori's climate is warm and dry with summer monsoons in July and August.
Summer temperatures are often above 100 degrees, while the winters are
very moderate with lows in the 30's and highs in the 60's and 70's.
